The Amazon A+ Story manager

We added the functionality Story manager to the newly added Amazon workspace. It lets you create content stories for relevant Amazon products. Stories give clear descriptions of products for retailers and clients. These stories link to existing ASINs and you can publish them on the respective Amazon marketplace. The story modules meet the requirements of the target marketplace.

To create a story, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Tools > Story manager and select the Create story button.

  2. In Create new story, give your story a name and select the Create story button. In the next field, drag and drop desired Story modules.

  3. Upload- or add from your workspace library the images or assets into selected module.

  4. For each image, add a headline and description.

  5. Select the button Link and publish to save the created story.

  6. In Link products & publish story, select the button Add products to choose the products related to the created story.

Note: You can also save stories as a draft. Select Publish to see what your story will look like and to link it to the chosen products.

Note: To request the activation of the feature Story manager in your Retail platform environment, contact your Retail representative.

Improved Retail platform error handling

Now you can get an overview of Amazon exports in your retail platform environment and check error logs per product.

The Export overview can be found in the functionality Exports. Go to the Export details, where you can:

  • Use Export overview to get a quick overview of the export status, the products involved, and registered errors.

  • In the Export log, see any registered errors per linked product. You can also copy raw code from the text file.

For more information on your Retail platform environment, contact your Retail platform representative. About the Export overview, contact your Retail platform representative.

Core GS1 GDSN - The CIP messages

For product data submitted to GS1 GDSN, a Catalogue Item Publication (CIP) message is sent to GDSN. The CIP message is necessary for publishing item(s) using GLN code to a specific data recipient, or to a specific target market using a 3-digit country code based on ISO 3166 standards. Without this CIP message, data recipients will operate with outdated, missing, or incorrect data.

From now on, you can:

  • publish your products to GS1 GDSN without leaving the Retail platform.

  • publish to an individual recipient or to a target market.

  • automatically generate CIP messages for each selected product.

  • perform the action in bulk to deliver content updates for multiple products.

  • unpublish a product or multiple products.

  • deliver content to any recipient within GS1 GDSN, without the need for a direct connection with the target market.

For more information about delivering content to GS1 GDSN, contact your Retail platform representative.
