New Amazon A+ modules and improved navigation in Story manager

Sellers and vendors can now enrich their Amazon product listings with 12 A+ Basic story modules in the Story Manager in the Retail platform. You can create more comprehensive and interactive content to drive better conversion on your Amazon product display pages.

The Story Manager lets you preview and select necessary module layouts to build clear product stories.

When you submit a module, our platform will convert the content of the module to meet the requirements of the target marketplace. Using modules increases the chances of having your content approved by Amazon.

Note: The functionality Story manager, part of the functionalities release within the early adopter phase, is not automatically available to all clients. If you want to try this functionality, please contact your Retail platform representative.

We also improved the navigation within Story manager:

  • You can now return to Story builder from any Create story page with the Back button, instead of reopening Story manager.

  • You can now navigate between Story builder, where the story is written, and Link products, where one or more ASIN codes are linked to the created story.

Reach out to your Retail platform representative if you have further questions.

Retail Platform

A new layout of the Retail platform

The Retail platform has a new design: improved and reorganized navigation, and self-explicit icons to help you find the content easier.

Should you prefer the old layout, you can switch back to it in Preferences in Account Settings.

We have changed the logo to the Productsup logo throughout the platform. Domain names may change in the next months.

For questions about the new design, please contact your Retail platform representative.

Core GS1 GDSN

New options for Scheduled import

We updated Scheduled import with new options:

  • Product attributes and Product assets - With Product attributes and Product assets, you can import either product attributes and values only, product assets only, or both. By default, the two options are enabled, and you can select at least one.

  • Trim leading 0 values in EAN - Imports from GS1 GDSN contain14-digit GTIN code. But a lot of brand manufacturers in Europe operate with 13-digit EAN codes. To match GTIN codes with EAN codes preventing duplicated products in workspaces, use Trim leading 0 codes in EAN to remove zeros at the beginning of any EAN codes.

  • Multiple variants - You can select a specific Variant name to import content to. This way, variants don’t automatically change unless specifically selected.

For questions about the new Scheduled import options, please contact your Retail platform representative.

Retail platform API

Product status updates

When using the Retail platform API, you can switch product status for any product to sync with external data sources.

By default, all newlly created or updated vai API products receive the status Saved. We added a new PUT method to the /Product endpoint to update the Product Status in bulk for the desired group of products.

Note: To use of this new function, you need to operate with the Retail platform internal Product IDs. To obtain them, make GET/Product API calls. To get a list of all the available Product Statuses in the current workspace, make calls to the /ProductStatus endpoint.

For questions about Retail platform API or Product updates, please contact your Retail platform representative.
